■あらすじ
子供を上手く愛せない母親と、愛情を知らない５歳の男の子の物語。ある日、そんな二人の前に守護霊となった祖父が現れ…。

制作するにあたって心がけた事は、シンプルに語り、シンプルに撮ることでした。そのため、この映画にはセリフがほとんどありませんし、登場人物も少なく、静かに物語は進んでいきます。

■監督コメント
「青い背中」監督の佐々木世雄と言います。
この作品にはセリフがほとんどありませんし、登場人物も少ないです。テーマをいかに表現するかを考えた時、シンプルに語り、シンプルに撮ることが大切だと思い、余分なセリフなどは全て取り除きました。セリフが少ない分、役者さんたちは難しかったかもしれませんが、みなさん見事に演じてくれました。

When making this film I tried to tell the story simply, to shoot the film simply. Therefore the film has almost no dialogue and very few characters, giving it a calm and quiet feel.

■Director's Comment
This film has almost no dialogue and very few characters. When I thought about how to express the theme of the film, I thought it was important to tell the story simply, to shoot the film simply so I got rid of all unnecessary lines. Having little lines probably posed a great challenge for the actors, but they worked hard and all gave spectacular performances.
